Halloween season feels spiritual
Halloween is said to be a time when spirits can communicate. But for some, it’s Halloween season all year-round.
My friend’s husband died after having a heart attack in his sleep earlier this year. She saw a blue orb of light in their room. A few days later, my friend heard the front door rattle. It was late and she was putting the kids to bed when she heard her husband curse on the other side of the door. Moments later, she saw his spirit in the house. She knew that she was awake. The dog also saw him and she looked in his direction and started wagging her tail. His spirit would also visit during the day.
After some time, my friend informed her husband that he had passed away. He had not been in good health but his passing had not been expected. The kids have also felt his presence. My friend asked him to stop scaring her. She warned him that if she had a heart attack, there wouldn’t be anyone left to care for their children. The visitations quieted down but he leaves clues to let them know that he was there. Like the smell of smoke.
My friend is sensitive to spirits. She has interacted with others that have passed away. She doesn’t consider herself a medium but has noticed that her abilities have gotten stronger with age. She said that sensitivity runs in the family. Her mother has also…
